Last updated: June 23, 2026
## Information We Collect
CLIP!T collects your email address when you create an account. We store video footage you record and reference photos you upload for facial recognition purposes.
## How We Use Your Information
- To identify you in sports footage using facial recognition
- To save and organize your video clips
- To provide your CLIP!T Pro subscription
## Facial Recognition & Face Data
CLIP!T uses AWS Rekognition to detect and identify athletes in recorded video.
- Why we store face data: To match recorded clips to the correct athlete’s account and automatically route them to that athlete’s library.
- How long face data is stored: Face data is stored only as long as you have an active account. When you delete your reference photos in the Profile tab, your face data is
permanently deleted from AWS Rekognition immediately. We do not store face data indefinitely.
- Third parties we share face data with: AWS (Amazon Web Services) via their Rekognition service, hosted in the us-west-2 (Oregon) region. AWS does not use your face data to
train their models or share it with other parties. Their privacy policy is at aws.amazon.com/privacy.
- Whether AWS stores face data: Yes, AWS Rekognition stores facial geometry data on our behalf in our dedicated collection. It is deleted immediately when you remove your
reference photos.
## Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase and AWS. Reference photos are used solely for facial recognition within your own account.
## Third-Party Services
We use AWS Rekognition for facial recognition processing. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. We use Apple’s StoreKit for subscription billing.
## Data Deletion
You may delete your reference photos and account data at any time within the app.
